ComServ, Inc. provides a variety of services through A Place to Grow (APTG), a Five Star Child Developmental Center that serves children one to five years of age. APTG is open year round Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Services offered include Community Based Rehabilitative Service(CBRS) for children under the age of three and who have qualified for services through the Children's Developmental Service Agency. Other services include day care, preschool and an NC PreK program for children ages four and five. Funding for services comes from NC PreK, DSS vouchers, Private Pay, CBRS medicaid, The United Way of Lincoln County, CACFP Food Program and donations, fundraising and grants.

A Place to Grow is an inclusive program that specializes in serving children “at risk" and with developmental delays. The services are designed to meet the developmental delays. The services are designed to meet the developmental needs to promote skill acquisition in areas such as self-help, fine and gross motor skills, language and communication, cognitive and social skills. The services are also designed to meet childcare needs of families and to provide support. The inclusive classrooms follow best practices for preschool children. Children with developmental delays learn alongside children who are typically developing. Children who are typically developing also learn the importance of respect for differences, compassion and acceptance.

A Place to Grow holds several events for families throughout the year such as a Community Art Show, Family Day, and an end of the year Graduation Event. Families are encouraged to volunteer throughout the year for children's activities and events.
